YOUR STORY
The customers story is always the starting point in my designs. Together we discuss your wishlist, for example: would you like more closed storage space for a quieter interior, or would you prefer open shelves? Would you prefer an open kitchen design or a more separate area where the dirty dishes are out of sight? Maybe you would like a new bathroom but you’re not sure if both a shower and a bath will fit in? We also discuss you budget, and I inform you of the possibilities. In order to understand your personal preferences and taste, we look at interior images and talk about the mood you would like to realize.
Based on these inputs I start designing. I study the possibilities till I find the best floorplan, where every function has its space. By taking into account circulation, location of windows and doors, the views, … I design a floorplan where the feeling at every spot is just right. Carefully chosen materials, textures, colours, furniture, lighting, plants and accessories create the ambiance you wished for. Of course I take into account the style of the building, making sure the interior matches with its style, or maybe creates a nice contrast. The result is a very personal interior where you can really feel at home, time after time.

ABOUT ME
My most important goal as a designer is to create warm and personal interiors. An interior doesn’t need to impress with its size or price tag. It needs to reflect the personality of its owners, and invite people to stay.
My designs are often inspired by Scandinavian interiors: I love their abundant use of wood and plants. I like to add something special to my designs: a work of art from the customer, vintage furniture, fabric with special designs, soft tapestry, … I always create a seamless blend between my style and the customers style. curious about the result? Apart from taking care of the design I also take care of full service execution of the works. For this I carefully selected a team where I can always count on: golden craftsmen and women that take pride in high quality work, taking care of every detail. This ranges from builders and furniture makers to parquet installers, painters and shops with a lovely assortment of exquisite furniture. In case construction works are needed I can count on an architect and an engineer. I take care of the planning and the coordination, keeping the customer up the date as a single point of contact.

I am happy I got to know Frea. Moving from a large house to an apartment was a big step for me. I trusted Frea from the first contact. She is to-the-point and realistic. Not only the design of the custom made furniture but also the addition of a functional kitchen extension convinced me that I chose the right designer. Apart from that Frea took care of lighting with a few nice eye-catchers that I never thought about myself. Together with the color advice this make my apartment feel much more spacious. Visitors also love the interior design. I also feel very good with it. Not unimportant: the agreements I made with Frea were taken care of punctually…

We are super happy with Frea’s work! Starting with the introductory conversation where she understood our wishes very well, till the coordination of the execution of the works itself. The way she combines the creative and the technical side of the design is great, because we had no expertise at all. She converted our inefficient attic into two large, light bedrooms, an amazing improvement! For example she changed the layout and added a light tunnel and big Velux windows, giving a spacious feel that we would never have thought about ourselves. Very punctual, friendly and calm, which is nice when you are in the process of a renovation :). We recommend her for 100 percent!

We are very happy about working with Frea for the complete make-over of our kitchen, living room and kids bedroom. She understood our style and added original ideas that we would never have thought about ourselves. Apart from that she also took into account that we preferred ecological materials. In the furniture design she combined the esthetical and the practical. She adapted the design a few times till it was completely fulfilling our wishes.
It was also practical that she brought us into contact with trustworthy craftsmen, for example the furniture maker and the painter did an excellent job. We would also like to mention that she followed up on the works in a very precise way and came onsite regularly to coordinate with the craftsmen. In this way we could rest assured that everything went according to plan. She also provided us with shopping tips for accessories and plants that fit nicely into our interior.
